    New BBS door for Linux SBBS - VMS Empire.

    A 2-player version of the classic strategy game. Compete against the computer. Fully supports save games so you don't have to finish in one sitting. You can get it from my sourceforge account at https://sourceforge.net/projects/vms-empire/

    When I use the configuration options shown in the included png and pdf files:

    -f "%a" -b

    the program returns a usage error and lists the available command line switches, which do include both -f and -b, so I am guessing the "%a" is an issue?

    Does it say what the invalid option is? When I run it from the command line it works OK for me...

    Unfortunately it does not. If I run it from command line, it also works.
    It only complains of not being able to find the saved game file but it does start. It starts if I leave one of them (-f, -b) off, and it also starts
    if I do not include any of them.

    If I run it from sbbs, it displays the available options but does not
    indicate which one it does not like.

    Updated the VMS-Empire game with some serious fixes. Please upgrade as soon as possible. Latest version is available here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/vms-empire/ - Any questions just ask...

    This is a great single-player (not counting the computer oponent) version of Empire - Wargame of the Century. Fully supports saved games so you can exit and come right back to where you were.

    Should run on any Linux version of SBBS, and other Linux BBS platforms that support external native apps.
